2.4 Kanji Week

The theme for this week is: Kanji!
Week 2, Pattern 4

This one is a classic! Every magazine that I've seen that featured kanji has featured the symbol for love. It's so cute, too, because the symbol for "heart" is in there, too! I mean, it's a tad bit squished, but that's how kanji writing works. Man, I really should get back to learning that language.

Pink or red would be the most obvious choice of floss colours.

And no, tomorrow's kanji will not be "hatred." Haha.

In other news, I had to have my computer wiped. I pretty much expected that, though, which is why I have everything backed up. I'm a hoarder both in terms of real things and of data, and I can't stand the thought of losing my stuff — especially when I don't know what I potentially lost. It's a very scary thought, really. I guess my Photoshop settings are screwed over, though, and that's how I was making these patterns (and apparently, Creative Suite needs to be re-downloaded entirely). I'll have to check on all the other programs.

I also had to get a new battery, and that was my main reason for needing to visit the computer store, anyway. And while it was really expensive, it sure beats buying a whole new machine for $2,000. (Yes, I use Apple.)
